Choosing Casino Party Music
Music is always an important part of any party, whether it is just a social gathering, private party, Aussie dollar Bingo night, or corporate event. Themed parties have become very popular and is a great way for friends or colleagues to enjoy an evening together. Even just the preparation for the themed party is so much more fun than just a normal party.
Ideas for Casino Party Music
The increasing popularity of casinos and online casinos and the connection between popular Hollywood movies such as “casino nights” has made themed casino parties extremely popular. There are many ways to plan a casino party that includes the food, outfits and various casino games, but what really makes a party is the music as it sets the mood and as the evening progresses most people enjoy dancing. Background music is also great while people are mingling or enjoying a cocktail.
When one thinks of casinos, Las Vegas automatically comes to mind. Las Vegas is known for its vibrant night life, clubs and casinos and playing the right music at a casino themed party will make the night that much more fun. Songs like Money, Money, Money by ABBA, Let’s Go to Vegas by Clubstophobia, Rambling Gambling Man by Faith Hill and Waking up in Vegas by Bob Seger will go a long way to making a casino themed party a great success.
Here is a playlist of some other great music that will definitely make the casino themed party a hit! The Casino Boogie is a song made popular by the famous Rolling Stones and is always a great hit at any party but especially for a casino themed party. Viva Las Vegas is a popular 60s hit from the King, Elvis Presley, and is great to listen to while enjoying a game of Blackjack or spinning the Roulette wheel.

Old Blue Eyes, Frank Sinatra’s, Luck Be a Lady was originally sung by Marlon Brando in the 50s and later it was included in Sinatra’s album Bewitched. This song is known by everyone, young and old, and will be loved by all but especially guests from that era and is always a firm favourite for a casino themed party.
Things to Consider

There are also many movies with great theme songs that would be great for a casino themed party such as the Oceans series and the popular TV series Las Vegas. It is important to remember that just because a song has the word casino in it does not necessarily mean that is appropriate for a casino party, so it is always good to first listen to them and make sure that they are appropriate. It is important to choose the right music, as it will make a big difference to the enjoyment of the party.
If the casino themed party is aimed at a younger crowd, dance music is the way to go and songs like Poker Face from Lady Gaga and songs from Pussycat Dolls, Britney Spears and Rihanna, which are favourites of the younger generation. If there is a mixture of ages in the group of guests it may be good to have something for everyone, and the younger crowd will enjoy listening to some of the oldies.
Selecting a good playlist is a really important part of making a casino party special and one that can be enjoyed by all.
